Middle School Coach's Corner

The Middle School Wrestling philosophy is "to build spirit through self-confidence and teamwork." We may not keep team scores or offer awards to wrestlers for their wins, but we support the wrestler's perseverance and attitude towards being a good athlete and contributor- on and off the mat. This philosophy encourages wrestlers to grow in areas beyond counting their number of wins or losses, but to focus more upon their own performance and to use it for motivation. A loss is just as important as a win to us, if the loss is used for the purpose of improvement.
